  1. We had a pig roast for 50 people in our backyard two weeks ago. The weather forecast was 50/50. How did we ensure blue skies? Rented a tent, of course!

  2. Last year I bought snow boots and it didn’t snow. This year, even though I have a perfectly good, never worn pair, I shall be doing the same. Can’t afford to take that risk šŸ˜‰ xx

  4. I know Murphy personally. He’s a bit ticked off about being the blame for all the troubles in the world.

  5. Ha! Should work. I’ll send you a donation towards it. šŸ˜€

  6. Gilles is also contemplating a snowblower … but our problem is where to store it. I would love to have that kind of insurance policy that it doesn’t snow this winter!!!!

  7. Sound logic…works for me!

  8. You’re going to be so ticked when it snows and you find out the new machine you bought is defective. Course you won’t know til it snows.

  9. A Home Depot here in San Diego was mistakenly shipped snow shovels. It apparently was cheaper for them to put them on sale for $5 each rather than ship them to a store in an area where it actually snows. I didn’t buy one so it probably will snow here this winter.

  10. When we have had a dry spell here and wish like crazy that it would rain, I water the front lawn. Works every time…RAIN!!

  11. Are snowflakes fractals ?

  12. I just looked up fractals but was confused mid way through the second line. Snowflakes will have to be snowflakes for now. If it snows we get a snow day and have roast beef and Yorkshire puddings.

  13. when I was 12 years ld I had a t-shirt with murphy’s law printed on it – it was fun to wear and I always liked talking with people about it when I wore it lol!

anyhow, I like your take on this for the one line – and such pretty snow flakes. šŸ™‚

  14. Maggie, I tagged you on my blog for Social Media Tag about your writing, if you have time! šŸ™‚

  15. We’re forecast a drought coming up, so it’s only fair that you get snow!! Just think of that lovely white fluffy, silent coat on everything when you wake up!! Not the sludge that results later….
